Im using a Layla 3g with the recomended echo drivers. I even tried diffetrnt versions of echo drivers same result. Asio4all same result. Even another set of drivers fpm an old interface I no longer use same result. 1024 gave less clunkiness, slightly smoother operation but still cant see use my digital outs. And still get loud bursts occasionally.So Bob you say asio works more smoothly with Windows 7 ? Why is that. I stay away fom 64 bit anything so thats definitely not part of my problem but thanks for the warning.
