Hmmm.. I'll have to experiment with that in the morning.
You could always create a click track pretty quickly. Just enter a drum note (usually Db3; channel 10) on the beat for a measure, then copy that measure for however long you want the click. Assign the track to VSC DXi or Forte, or whatever softsynth you can run.
When I do this, I highlite a blank track, go to the event editor, click insert, and enter the drum note on channel ten at 1-1-0, 1-2-0, 1-3-0, and 1-4-0. Then I copy that measure and paste it for "X" amount of repititions.
If I'm sure about the tempo, I'll sometimes autoconvert that midi track to audio, and turn off the DXi/VSTi synth I wa using to hear it.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
