Band-in-a-Box 2012.5 New Features

Band-in-a-Box 2012.5 for Windows® is here with great new features and more!

We've been busy and have added some great new features to Band-in-a-Box 2012.5 for Windows. Compared to version 2012 (released December 2012), there are 101 more amazing RealTracks for Jazz, Rock-Pop & Country and 15 new features for version 2012.5. We've added 176 additional Simple Variations RealTracks, new RealCharts for existing bass RealTracks, and many more including MIDI SuperTracks.

MIDI SuperTracks are a great sounding option for those who would like to use MIDI in their arrangement. Instead of MIDI styles based on C7 chord patterns that get repeated over every chord, the MIDI SuperTracks are based on actual playing by studio musicians. When you play the SuperTracks using your MIDI synth, or favorite VST plug-ins you get an incredibly realistic sound using MIDI. We include 3 new MIDI SuperTracks sets (Pop, Country and Jazz) with piano, organ, and bass – 46 MIDI SuperTracks in all.

Wow! Over 970 RealTracks in the UltraPlusPAK or EverythingPAK! Over 1,000 hours of studio musicians' recordings!

We've added a huge number of new RealTracks (101), with great new Jazz, Pop, and Country Styles with

Band-in-a-Box 2012.5. These include:

Jazz RealTracks (31): Cuban RealTracks made with Rebeca Mauleón including full instrumentation for Son Montuno and Bolero (piano, percussion, baby bass, tres guitar, and guitar), Jazz Funk "Movin" styles, Mike LeDonne Jazz Waltz Organ, and Dixieland medium tempo rhythm section.

Rock-Pop RealTracks (36): Modern Dance Pop, John Jarvis Piano styles, and more Texas Blues and Rock 'n' Roll with Brent Mason and Sol Philcox.

Country RealTracks (34): John Jarvis Country, Praise and Worship Modern Groove, Country Boogie, Western Swing Soloists, and Killer Soloists.


And if you're upgrading from 2011.5, you'll also get the 101 RealTracks in Sets 137-154 that were included in version 2012. These include:
