I’m a big fan of all the guitar companies mentioned and I really couldn’t possibly care less about their politics. I’m also a big fan of nature and the outdoors and protecting it. This was never about wood. As Scott said, it’s about some kind of grudge or hidden agenda. That just stinks to high heaven. Thanks Eddie for posting an update. I still haven’t seen it in the news. Who wants to bet this isn’t the last time the Feds target Gibson? Jeez. Quote:

Yes Richard, Gibson got screwed at least twice. The wood wasn't even illegal! It was mislabeled by one of the shipping parties. The wood was worth FAR more than the fine.
