What you are hearing is a dim7 chord. The 6th of a key is enharmonically equivalent to the diminished 7th of a key.

Since version 2012.5, BIAB has two diminished chords. These are dim5 (three notes) and dim7 (four notes). Before version 2012.5, there was only the four note diminished chord and this occurred whether one typed dim or dim7.

If you have the latest version of BIAB, simply enter Gbdim5. If you are using an older version of BIAB, only the dim7 that you are hearing is possible.
