I suspect the BIAB_RealBand_full file that Will sent you is essentially the same as the BIAB Pro version (no RealTracks/RealDrums/etc). I don't know which version you originally purchased, but here's what I would do. I am assuming that you want to install BIAB/RealBand onto your computer's C: drive.

* I would highly recommend that you temporarily turn UAC (User Access Control) completely off. I wasn't clear on which operating system you have, since you said you have Win7 Vista Home. Win7 and Vista are slightly different in how they turn UAC on/off. If you don't know how to do it, just Google it and you'll find out how.

* Save the RealBand_BIAB_full file that Will sent you on your desktop (for now).

* Hook up the BIAB 2011 external USB hard drive to your computer.

* Open Windows Explorer (file explorer, not Internet Explorer) and find the external hard drive for BIAB 2011. I will assume it is H:\ on your computer, based on your original post, but substitute whatever drive letter it comes up as.

* Right-click on the H:\BB folder and select "Copy" from the popup menu.

* Right-click on the C:\ drive and select "Paste" from the popup menu. This will take a long time to copy.

* Right-click on the H:\RealBand folder and select "Copy" from the popup menu.

* Right-click on the C:\ drive and select "Paste" from the popup menu and let it finish copying.

* Once the files are copies, eject the BIAB 2011 USB hard drive and connect the BIAB 2012 USB hard drive. I will again assume it came up as H:\, but substitute whatever drive letter it shows up as.

* Right-click on the H:\BB folder and select "Copy" from the popup menu.

* Right-click on the C:\ drive and select "Paste" from the popup menu. When it tells you the files or folders already exist, be sure to select the option to overwrite and replace "All" files. You may have to do that several times as it works through the files and folders. Again, this will take a long time to copy.

* Right-click on the H:\RealBand folder and select "Copy" from the popup menu.

* Right-click on the C:\ drive and select "Paste" from the popup menu and let it finish copying. Again, when it tells you the files or folders already exist, be sure to select the option to overwrite and replace "All" files. You may have to do that several times as it works through the files and folders.

* Now that all the files are copied, go to your desktop and double click on the BIAB_RealBand_full file that Will sent you. This should be the full installer for the BIAB and RealBand files. The RealTracks and RealDrums will have been copied over in the previous copy operation.

* When the installer asks you where you want to install BIAB, select C:\BB. When the installer asks you where you want to install RealBand, select C:\RealBand. For any other options (such as PGMusic Plugins), just accept the default location.

* Once the installer is finished, you should have an icon on your desktop for both BIAB and RealBand. Double click BIAB and see which version you are running, and then check the PGMusic support website to see which is the most recent version of BIAB 2012 (not 2012.5, which is considered a different version). If there is an update for a higher version, then download it and install it.

* Run BIAB and make sure everything is working for you. Do the same with RealBand. Check the settings for the location of RealTracks and RealDrums (for both programs). RealTracks should be in C:\BB\RealTracks and RealDrums should be in C:\BB\RealDrums (same settings for both programs). Rebuild the style list and make sure everything shows up okay. Once you are satisfied, you should be able to turn UAC back on.

The above will install BIAB and RealBand, but not the add-ons. Those may or may not install properly (based on the problems you've already had). If you want them, then just try. Go to the external hard drive and find the H:\PGMusic folder. You should find the installers there for the add-on programs.

If you do this, let me know how it works, and then I'll tell you how to take what you've done and make a backup back onto your external hard drive so you can re-install again, if necessary.
