Dear Biab Users,
I am trying to discover how to preserve count-in while drum track is muted.
For example, suppose I am practicing and I am playing piano and I have a live drummer and I want Biab to play the bass part, so want the drum track muted but, at the same time, I want the count-in (tap-tap-tap-tap) to still be audible so that we can start on the same beat.
How can that be done?
Please advise.

Which version of BIAB do you have. In BIAB 2012.5, I just tried a song, selected to mute the drum track, but the click-in played as expected.

Check the Count-In settings in the Options.
You may have Audible Lead-in turned off.

Thanks so much for the reply.
After some experimenting, it does work, but under a given condition, as follows.
If drum-track is muted and volume is zero, then the count-in is not audible and drums are not audible.
If drum-track is muted and volume is greater-than-zero, then the count-in is audible and the drums are not audible.
So, volume applies to the count-in but muting does not apply to the count-in.
Which means there is a distinction between muting and setting-volume-to-zero, which I did not see until now.
(BTW, I am using Biab 2012.5 right now.)

It was your post that lead me to the discovery that "mute track" is not the same as "setting volume to zero".
And, as noted above, I discovered the mute applies to the drum sounds but not to the count-in sounds.
