Go ahead and run the update. Then if it still doesn't work, try Options, Return to Factory Settings.

If that doesn't work, there are a few other things to try:

Did you install into a C:/Program Files folder? That's bad; put it somewhere else like C:/BB.

Did you have a virus checker running during installation? Turn it off and reinstall.

Try turning UAC off to see if it works.

Associate the files with BIAB. It's in File, File Utilities.

Reboot.

Reinstall again anyway.

If all fails, call PG Music Support tomorrow morning. Good luck!


EDIT: I see you got it. Good! Yes, there was a choice in the Install routine to associate the files; you must have missed it.
