I noticed that when I move my mouse, I hear a buzz that corresponds.
I've also noticed, after recording in RB, a high pitch during playback.
I can cut all the areas where there is no music & it still comes through.
Anyone know what I should look at?

The mouse noise (I have it too) seems to be a common issue with the USB bus. I do not have a solution. It doesn't seem to affect anything, so I try not to stress about it, other than over the sheer inelegance.
Have you listened to your recordings on other devices to see whether the high-pitched sound is still there? If not, treat as above; the problem is likely in your monitoring system. I did have this problem and fixed it with new cables from my audio interface to my powered speakers. If yes, I can only suggest a notch filter during mastering.

I've got the same problem....driving me nuts! I hear even when just listening to BIAB playback...just moving the mouse when moving a window. I've tried to move my hardwired (non-wireless) trackball to another USB port, plugging into a powered USB hub, plugging the powered hub into another outlet, switching to an older analog mouse, switching to an optical mouse...nothing seems to help. At first, I thought it was a problem with the mice, but I think, as noted above, it's a USB issue. Would appreciate other thoughts and insights too.

That noise, though YOU hear it while you are working, isn't recording when you dump your songs out. Unless for some reason while your song is compiling you find a reason to sit there and run your mouse around the screen.... then you may get some spurious noise from the IRQ you are creating.

I concur that the mouse noise and the high-pitch noise on the recordings are probably unrelated, unless you make a recording with no input and all it picks up is your mouse movement noise.
What soundcard do you have, Mick? Might you have the gain turned up on some input channel that isn't being used? Is this a SoundBlaster with 'What You Hear"?
If all else fails, consider a soundcard outside the box.
