For existing projects I just work with the count-in until mix down time, then cut it; either in other DAW or in RB before exporting.
Use Bars window to highlite the first two bars, click the firstr track number, then hold ctrl and click the last tracks number.
Then Click 'Cut' and make sure the 'Close Gap' radio button is selected in the pop-up.
RB will cut the first two bars and slide everything else to to close the gap from the cut.
That Close Gap is important.
