You're not buying off-the-shelf, are you? Bad geek. No caffeine. You need an original copy of Win 7. It was mentioned earlier that you need to figure the cost of the OS into your PC budget. This is why. I don't believe a Restore copy is going to be adequate. Or you could try to get them to install a 7,200-RPM drive for you. But everybody here would feel better if you had a license complete with install disk.
