i just got a song done with a melody. I thought it might be nice to use a super midi piano track instead of the regular acoustic piano. I'm using a ketron sd2 synth. The super midi piano worked great. I then decided that I would like to have an intro using the last few bars. I used this method many many times in the past. I first tried using the copy/paste bar feature from the drop down Edit Menu with add bars at destination. The original melody was still there although the chords copied okay. I then tried both insert and add bars. The same thing happened. So, I tried to go back to the regular piano patch, but that didn't work. I tried Undo and that would not work either. Thankfully, I can start all over since a used a Norton fakebook song and I had input the melody using printmusic. Next time I decide to use the super midi tracks, I'm going to save a copy of the song BEFORE I change to the super midi track. I'll get the intro set up first also. Yeah, there's usually a work around, but sometimes it's a real surprise that you have to use one.
