When I want to learn a guitar riff, I have to do several things because the only tableture program I have is BB. The first thing I do is write the song in Music Time Deluxe. From there I program the software to lower the song a octave so that BB can read the G cleft right for guitar. The next thing I do is make a midi file of the rift or song. I then go to BB and insert all the chords needed for the song and then import the midi as a melody over the top of the BB file I just created. From there I change the Melody to guitar so that the G Cleft will read and be in tableture notation. I then play the song with the guitar fretboard open (marker set at the Open fret) to see if the tabs are in the correct position. If they are not then I go into BB's song editing mode where I see the G cleft and the tabs for the song in question. I then use the "< or >" keys one at a time until I get to the note that needs to be changed on the tableture line. Then by using the Nt+ and Nt- keys, I am able to give each note it's correct position on the fretboard. I haven't experimented with bends, pull-offs, and etc as of yet but BB is able to read them, I asume they are editable. Hope this helps. A very short version. david
