I've been working through a batch of songs, cleaning up errors and making use of RealTracks etc. Sometimes I need to prepare backing tracks in more than one key, and I've been caught a couple of times with the default filename chosen by BIAB.
For example, I have an MGU file for 'Round Midnight in the usual key of Eb minor, which I've called "Round Midnight Ebm.MGU". When I hit the "WAV" button I'll be offered the default filename "Round Midnight Ebm_Render.WAV", which is just what I want.
But let's say I sometimes play with a colleague who wants to play this in Cm.
After cleaning up the errors in the original (Ebm) file, I save the file. I now change the key in the usual way, and accept the transposition option, using "Save As" to save the result as "Round Midnight Cm.MGU". When I hit the "WAV" button now I expect the default filename to include the "Cm", but the output in C minor goes to "Round Midnight Ebm_Render.WAV".
Now that I'm aware of the problem there's a reasonable chance that I'll avoid issuing a backing track in Cm in a file labelled Ebm, but I would have expected the rendering module to pick up the current name of the file, rather than the name of the file that was loaded at the beginning of the editing session.
Before I make a nuisance of myself by submitting a Request For Change that no-one else wants - what does the forum think?

After you click on the WAV icon...
In Top right corner of pop-up window is CHOOSE.
Click this and you can alter the name as you see fit.

Sorry, I should have said that I knew about the opportunity to change the filename. Most of the time, I'm opening an MGU file, editing it, saving it under the same filename and rendering the track to WAV, which is given the same base filename with _Render.WAV appended.
The problem arises when I edit a file and save it with a different filename before exporting to WAV. It's easy to forget that the filename has been changed, and forget to change the filename, and my argument is that the base filename of the file currently open should be used, not the filename of the file opened earlier.
