I now have 3 midi controllers that I'd like to use and be able to play into a track(s)....An Akei EWI USB, an Alesis Q25 keyboard, and an Akai mpd18 pad controller. Each of these controllers work fine with the software that they came with. However, although I can record them to tracks, I cannot hear any sound from them while I'm recording. I can keep the take and then play it back with sound though. My thoughts are that I either do not have something set right or perhaps, I don't have the correct/ necessary sound equipment/components. Here's what I have:

1. Micro Express 23B Desktop w/intel sandy bridge 5.0, 8GB ram
2. Win 7 64 bit home premium
3. Ketron SD2
5. Edirol Ua-4fx sound module
6. Creative Soundblaster Xtreme 7.0 Pci sound card
7. BIAB/RB 2012.5 Everything Pak
8. Garritan Personal Orchestra 4.0
9. Forte DXi
10. powered logitch 3 speakers out of the ua-4fx. These are not my gig speakers

Everything was working fine and still is except for hearing my input while using the midi controllers. I'm not using ASIO drivers and MME seems to have no latency issues. I have downloaded ASIO4ALL but have not installed it. A text doc that came with the win7 64 bit ua-4fx module says that it's compatible with ASIO 2.0. I'm wondering about a different DAW and have been considering FL Studio 10, but am open to suggestions. Thanks for any help.
