Wow, I had no idea more folks have been thinking about this. My family stopped the bleeding in my wallet 9 years ago when satellite was a whopping $35 a month! It was too much then and too much now. I told them if they would do an al a cart I would still pay the $35 a month for the five channels we actually watch versus the 200 we did not.
Because of moral convictions, I could not support giving my money to channels I did not agree with their programming. Sure, you can block those channels. But, it does not stop their revenue how little it may have been.

Anyway, now we have come to al a cart where the programs my family watch on all over the internet for free! We love the classics! The stuff nobody else watches basically.

So, we are 9 years strong and still going! Based on some people comments of what they pay, the savings add up to a nice used car!

A friend mine several years back had MLB.com. He told me then that you could watch the archive games for free.
