The only caveat is that you are using a knife to fork in your meat so to speak.

The band was supposed to be in the box, the music came out from chords entered and a style chosen.

So instead of getting a gig ready tune on the fly, (I've seen guys with guitars and a monitor use a really old version but at break put the chords in as they remembered them, and pick some style and after break to the song. The guy told me he got band in a box from a friend who had an old version he never used and taught himself!

However you get the gist. Perhaps it's time to split the purposes. Features have been added that have nothing to do with the original mission. Which it seems gets clouded more and more with each release, i.e., drag and drop. (Cave men did that non? If she was useful enough...) Mine came oh so willingly and stuck about.
