I too have thyroid problems, cold feet and legs a lot, on mild meds for that.
Probably heavy beryllium exposure in my case, with few
doses of Alpha particle radiations externally. Worked in a Nuke reclamation
center for awhile.

Truck sounds like a real bargain, and dog to boot.
