I'm wondering if Return to Factory Settings is the brute force method here. How did you initially change the key to D? It might just be that you had the transpose setting on, and there are a few different ways to do that.

Of course, if you like all the factory settings as they are, then never mind; that method is fine. On my system, I prefer to make about a dozen changes, so a Return to Factory Settings would be a bit of an annoyance if not needed, and all I had to do was change the transpose setting.
