howard, you may have a trojan infection. try to identify it by going to www.majorgeeks.com and download a trojan remover from their site. they are very helpful folks. you may have to register to post but its free. don't wipe your hard drive like i did. did you try a 'restore'? mario linked me to a repair routine that worked but i don't have it anymore. mario!?
