Hi,

I just updated from 2012 MAc to 2012.5 Mac and the new Real instruments have parts missing. I tried reinstalling and refreshing to no avail. It also seems like the warning dialogue references the wrong path. What can I do do ensure all the parts are working as they should.

thanks in advance

George

ps I would upload a screenshot if I could but there doesn't seem to be any options for this.

Prefs - realtracks and set the folder that contains the realtracks.

Still does it.
Made a custom path to both the RTs and the RDs because the defaults were punctuated without a capital: i.e. /Applications/Band-in-a-Box/realtracks/ rather than /Applications/Band-in-a-Box/RealTracks/

And like wise for the real drums but I still keep getting these error messages especially in the Super midi track sets. For example:

"does not exist

/Applications/Band-in-a-Box/Drums/PopModernGrooveSync16^/PopModernGrooveSync16-Hat, H24/PopModernGrooveSync16-Hat,H24_090_Style.txt, file has error: MP4/AIFF File doesn't exist in same folder as txt file or in another folder"

And I have also noticed that at times when the RD track cannot be found it is substituted with a midi drum track?

Also the prefs for realtracks are in the Windows menu item not the main prefs

thanks in advance

Hi George

The folder names are not case sensitive, so you don't need custom names for your drums and realtracks folders.

You should get a detailed look at what realtracks are missing. Visit the realtracks picker, and select the checkbox "show if n/a"
Then the rt that re missing will be named starting with n/a and it will tell you if
1. The needed folder doesn't exist in the realtracks folder
Or
2. The st2 soloist doesn't exist in the soloists folder

How can I hide the N/A tracks then because it is very confusing. All I want to see is what I bought.
And I have said before that even though the tracks I choose DO NOT have N/A is still get errors saying they do not exist.

Please see attached images and please tell me where the styles for Folk Pop Ballad are.

Thanks in advance

The missing Real drums are likely not installed yet. BTW, when you are in the StyleMaker, the memo that shows up at the right hand side of the screen, will show N/A beside any missing RealDrums or RealTracks. I noticed on one of your screenshots that a RealDrums style was missing for example.

You should either try the suggestions that I made ( see my message above yours, that explains going to the Realtracks picker, and then do the same thing with the RealDrums picker), or contacting support@pgmusic.com 250-475-2874 or live chat from this page.

I mean it's one thing to look for a Style or a RT or DT without knowing what I'm looking for and another to have a list to compare so that I can be exact with what I'm looking for.
Have you such a list for those of us who have the 2012.5 PlusPak? And where I can find the exact list on my drive?

If you look at the Style RT159 [Folk Pop Ballds] it shows 9 Styles, 5 of which aren't available. And to compare this to the Real Tracks you advertise you will get when you buy the PlusPak is, to say the least very confusing. I have tried the filtering function but this does not act like a normal filter? I look for N/A and I get maybe 9 instances of a list that shows well over 40. Can I search and filter by sets?

What Styles comes with PlusPak? I would like a function that doesn't show the styles I have NOT bought.

Would it be best to reinstall both the MegaPak and then the 2012.5 PlusPak. I shouldn't have to do all this because I just installed as per directions. No changing of folders, just as it comes out of the box so to speak!

If you have the MegaPak, you have about one quarter of all of the RealTracks available. If you have installed everything correctly, that would give you hundreds of styles with all of the Realtracks present. Normally you shouldn't see any styles where some rt s are missing, but it depends what version of the MegaPak you have. The plus pak is an upgrade from version 2012.

))) I would like a function that doesn't show the styles I have NOT bought

Yes. There is a filter option tha will only show the styles where everything is available. press the filter button in the style picker and choose that option to only show styles that all Realtracks are available. It can also show you just the styles where one or more rt are NA.

Of course my main suggestions are the, ones above, which I repeat here...
