I got the same info Don posted when clicking the warning message and I don't use Avast.

I don't think this has anything to do with Avast or any other AV software. My AV software always asks for permission when potentially dangerous things being installed, even programs that I intentionally put on the HD.

Instead I think it is browser-related. In my browser I checked "Block reported attack sites" along with "Block reported web forgeries".

And it is a bummer. I like Harmony Central Forums, they are not brand-specific, there is a nice single and duo forum, and instead of banning political discussion, they have a political forum. They only thing they don't have is an active woodwind forum, "Sax On The Web" does take care of that. HC is a big site with a lot of users, which means there is a great deal of diversity of opinion. Of course, with anything that big, there are a lot of trolls, but they are easy to ignore.

I'll keep trying to get in, but I won't change the security settings on my browser to do so.

If anyone has any more information, please share it with us.
