carkins Journeyman C Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 349	Is there an optimal workflow that should be followed regarding the application of effects, compression etc for specific instruments/vocals when mixing to get the best possible sound? Would this be different for each or is there a general rule to follow? If so is there a flow chart or something similar that could be downloaded and posted in the studio to avoid getting "lost" in the mix? Carkins
