I'd open the exported wav file in Realband. Set the tempo to match the original file (so the bars line up), highlite the first two bars, and then use Edit-Cut' to remove it, with the 'Close Gap' option enabled. It's a checkbox.
Then export the wav to a different name and try the new one in Reaper.
You may be cutting measure number -1 and 0 (who numbers it like that?!)
That two bar count in may be the issue.
