Others opinions will vary I'm sure but to me you only want to import or export the raw original tracks. Example, you use RB to generate an RT guitar part. If you know you're going to wind up in Sonar, then you do nothing to that track in RB except listen to it to make sure it was generated correctly. Other than that, you do no gain changes, no effects plugs, none of that because it's being moved to Sonar anyway. That's like sending some tracks to a pro mixing engineer that you've already applied effects to. What's the point of that?

If it's a generated Biab midi part, same thing. Don't apply anything to it and remember for midi if you don't have the same midi synths set up in both programs then that part will sound different.

Remember what I said Eddie in the other thread? Mac is an educated audio engineer with a ton of experience. Listen to him.
