Hi Mac, thanks for the reply. So for example, the Finale file has an eight note followed by an eight rest, but BIAB imports it as a quarter note, no rest. Do you mean that somehow the eighth note in the Finale file is too long for BIAB to interpret as an eighth? Also happens with a quarter note followed by an eight rest appears in BIAB as a dotted quarter with no rest. I wonder if there's some setting that would compensate?
Weird thing is that I've done this dozens of times between Finale and BIAB and never had this issue before.
