Hello all, I have a PV14 USB mixer and I will go for a MIDI inteface. Have my eyes on a Lexicon Lambda Studio, is this a god interface for RB and BIAB? My problen is my language is Swdeish, and I find nothing on this in Sedish, so you hopefully understand the situation. Also have a Lexicon MX200, the manual say that I can use this as a VST via USB. So please help me out!

The Lexicon Lambda is a good interface which provides both midi and audio connections to the computer via USB. However, if you already have the Peavey PV 14 mixer, this will give you the audio connection and a cheaper midi interface such as the Roland UM-ONE (available from pg music) is all you need to get going.
Once your up and running with RB, you should be able to select the MX200 in the same way as you do for software VST plugins.
If you need any more help, give us some details of how you want to use your set-up and some specifications for your computer and operating system.

You don't need the lambda. That is really an audio interface. Not a midi interface. It has that capability but it is designed to be an audio interface. I also don't know why you can't get the manual in English. My brother was one of the engineers that designed that and it was designed in Salt Lake City.

How would you connect the Roland UM-ONE to the Peavey PV14USB?
The UM-ONE has a MIDI to USB and what I can see the PV14USB has only one USB that you use to connect to the computer.
Please explain!

You wouldn't do it that way.
The Peavey and the UM-ONE would both connect to the computer using separate USB ports. The Peavey would allow you to record audio signals such as guitar or microphone and the UM-ONE would connect MIDI devices like keyboards.
Neatlick - Yes, a lot of new words. Unfortunately I don't speak much Swedish (!), but I'm happy to help in English.

ROG: I start understand this new way to do this. Back in -85 I have a XRI Systems MIDIinterface hooked up to my ZX Spectrum Computer (nice days). When I get the UM-ONE (on order) will connect in the back of computer. Peavey PV14 USB on the left sides USB input. The 2 other USB input is god for a 250 Gb HD and Lexicon MX200, maybe as a VST plugin, the maual say that I can do so don't know yet. I will have the most out of this softwear, making rythman track for my own use to play Pedal- and Lap Steel Guitar and have a gooooooooood sounding ”band”. Making a backing track in BiaB and then transfer MIDI over to RB and record the melody via MIDI. Can play in a slower tempo. EDIT the PIANO ROLL to get it right. PLAY in normal TEMPO. Don't work with AUDIO. Neatlick is my nicknamn comming from a Forum for Steel Guitar, and I is new here. Hope my English is so god without to many word not in right order and wrong spelled word. I will NOT wright in Swedish.
Thanks for help

Your English is fine - we all spell words wrong sometimes!
ZX Spectrum! Nice days indeed! My first music computer was a Commodore 64 with a Sequential Circuits midi interface. Only six tracks, but still great at the time.
If you need any help with the UM-ONE when it arrives, just ask. If I get stuck there are lots of experienced people here who will join in. Nice to see you on the forum.
