The one thing I REALLY miss with the Real Tracks is the ability to control my volume on the fly with a physical mechanism.
With the MIDI version I used the Lexicon RMC and set the 4 slider to control the volume of bass, piano, guitar, & strings. It was very handy in live performance to be able to nudge a slider up and down to adjust the mix. With Real Tracks I have to grab a mouse and grab the right slider and move it, and frankly it just takes too long so more often than not, I live with a bad mix. As a piano player it is hard to take either hand off the keys for long.

I would think there would be a way to use a MIDI mixer like the Korg NANOKONTROL2 or the RMC to adjust volumes. Perhaps a piece of remote software for the iPad or iPhone.

As I said, I use the software in live performance. Have for years. The trade off of the (MUCH) better sounding Real Tracks is the loss of control of the live mix on the fly.

thanks - love the product!
