If you are using RealTracks, you definitely want to install the "shots and holds". Those are the files that allow RealTracks to properly play shots (like a hit, then off) and holds (holding notes out for several beats). If you don't install them, and tell BIAB that you want a shot or hold, then what you get from the RealTracks is unpredictable.

If you don't understand shots and holds, look up "rests, shots, and holds" in the help file or on the PDF user manual. There is a lengthy explanation of how you can use them in your BIAB arrangement to make the song more musical (as needed).
