Sorry about that I was at work, forgot about the 7.
It should only start play with a double click not a single click. Have you changed your mouse properties to activate with a single click? If you're having a problem with that and you haven't played with your mouse properties, that's something with your system not RB. Otherwise, yes you simply click in a bar, a cell opens and you type in the chord and hit enter, the cell moves to the next one and you do it again until you're finished. If you're not familiar with this process, it's the most basic part of the "getting started" area of the help files just read up on it, it's pretty simple.
