So every voter decided who they'd vote for based solely on issues and nothing else? Nobody voted blindly based on anything else? Democrats didn't vote for the democrat even if the democrat is Satan himself? Republicans who vote for the republican just because he is a republican? Do you believe that every voter did research, weighed both sides and made an informed decision about who would be the best man to regenerate the economy, to lure jobs back from foreign shores, to get kids to go to school, to make an effort to put an end to the drug epidemic, to bring our troops home from a war we should have been out of long ago as was promised by the victorious candidate in 2008?

How many people did not vote for Kennedy because he was Catholic? How many people did not vote for McCain because his running mate was a woman? He didn't learn from Mondale who pretty much surrendered when he picked Geraldine Ferraro as his running mate? Whether she was qualified or not, was the world ready for a female president in 1984? (I know she was selected to run for vice president, but the vice president is one heart attack away from being president.)

If it was a pristine process, there wouldn't be the "clueless" vote who pick their candidate by buying into his lies about how much money he is going to put in their pockets. I have been voting since age 21 (1972) and every year both candidates promise they are going to lower taxes. My taxes have NEVER gone down since I started voting, so literally, the candidates lied to us.

But you go on believing that everybody voted for their choice for only the right reasons. Santa will be here in a couple of months, too.
