I’ve mentioned this a couple of times in the past in the forum when unsuccessfully trying to use a particular operation.

Updating the GUI would be nice but, more importantly, BiaB should first have what I’ll call complete “Windows Action Functionality.”

In Word, for example, we all know that if a section of text is highlighted, whatever action is employed (copy, change font, bold, center, etc.) will affect the entire selected text, and the selected text only. That is complete second nature nowadays to all computers users.

However, that functionality is still not yet complete in BiaB.

Example, I wanted to change the tempo on eight bars of music. So I highlighted the bars and changed the tempo. But it didn’t work as expected.

I had forgotten that all of the F5 Bar Settings will continue until another setting is put in at a following measure.

If BiaB were completely “Windows compliant,” it would know to only change the settings for the bars that were highlighted.

This should be the minimum expectation of any software in use in the 21st century.

Thanks.
