JAWS is a screen reader program from Freedom Scientific:
www.freedomscientific.comIt works with Windows applications to make them more accessible to blind users. Jaws provides speech output from Windows applications (as well as braille if one has a braille display) so that the user can hear what is on the screen.
Although many applications work fairly well "out of the box" with Jaws, the unusual UI of BIAB makes it particularly difficult for blind people to use and navigate.
Fortunately, the Jaws application has an advanced scritping language which can be used to customize how particular applications work with Jaws.
Since BIAB is used by many blind musicians, another Jaws user and myself have taken it upon ourselves to develop scripts for Jaws that make this very useful program more accessible with Jaws.
I hope this ansers your questions.
