Hi, just purchased this program and am new to it. I have downloaded some midi files from the internet and am having a problem with stuttering / jerky playback of the midi files in BIAB. However, files included with BIAB that use Real Styles and Instruments seem to play back fine. It seems to relate to when I run them through the VSC DXI synth included with BIAB. I have ASIO selected. If I switch playback of midi files to be with the Microsoft GS Wavetable synth, the stuttering goes away. The odd part is if I load the same midi file into Realband, there is no stutter, even when running the VSC DXi in Realband.

Computer is a Lenovo laptop, Ideapad Y510, running Vista Home Premium, 3 GB ram, 1.83 GHz Core2Duo, using the included Realtek soundcard.

Can anyone give me an idea how to eliminate the jerky playback? I don't have the problem when using Realband, but would like to get the same performance in BIAB. Thanks.

BIAB/RB 2018 PlusPak. Dell Inspiron23 running Win10, 12GB RAM, 2.5GHz i7, Presonus AudioBox USB interface.
