It is easy to use . . .

It is and it isn't. You can be cranking out demos or backing parts--good ones--in an evening...

But when you get under the hood . . . Look at some of the questions that are being asked in the BIAB forum, e.g., "How do I make it do this?"

I think that many parts of Band in a Box are quite clunky/uninstinctive. While it is good for a few funky features, the basic features such as repeats and 1st/2nd endings and codas are far too complicated to do a simple thing, and this is what takes time. There may be many advantages of Band in a Box over other programs, but to me it seems that the core aspects of BIAB are what is necessary and sadly let it down.
