Hi Craig and welcome to the forums.
Yes, we just covered this in another thread.
What you need to do is highlight the whole track and use the CUT command with the DATA FILTER option. In the data filter box make sure you just check the box for CTRL. This will strip out all the controllers from the track without touching anything else.
If you still need more information about how to access the DATA FILTER, just get back to us.
