Hallo an alle,
ich habe mir das Update Ultra von 2008 auf 2009 bestellt. Muss ich die alte Version vorher de-installieren oder kann ich 2009 einfach drüber installere?
Auch die neuen Realtracks müssen ja irgendwie installiert werden. Muß ich die bereits vorhandenen Realtracks nun vorher löschen oder nur die fehlenden Realtracks auf die Festplatte spielen?

Hallo Bubix,
das ist mein eigener Thread von 2008 und leider ist meine Frage dort nicht erklärt.
Dort stelle ich keine Frage zum Über-Installieren eines Updates. Es ging vielmehr um den Erwerb der deutschsprachigen Updates.
Aber dennoch danke für Deine freundliche Antwort. Ich werde einfach drüber-installieren, wenn ich das Update erhalten habe, und dann gucke ich mal, was passiert.
Auch die Realtracks überspiele ich einfach auf die Festplatte und schau mal, was BIAB an Meldungen ausspuckt.

Hallo Tonk,
falls Du das UltraPak als HD-Disk gekauft hast, rate ich Dir, das komplette Verzeichnis PGMusic auf deine PC-Festplatte zu kopieren.
Dann aus deinem alten Verzeichnis alle selbst angelegten Dateien und Songs rüber kopieren und das alte Verzeichnis löschen.
Dann den Installer im neuen Verzeichnis PGMusic aufrufen, der setzt die Pfade, installiert die Fonts und die Verknüpungen mit den Dateiendungen sowie ggf. den Roland VSC. Das war's und Du hast den komplett aktuellen Stand. GGf. noch das letzte Update von der PGMUsic-Seite einspielen, falls hier was neueres da sein sollte.

Vielen Dank für die Antwort. Ich habe die CD-Version gekauft. Hierbei muss ich sicherlich erst die alte Version deinstallieren, vermute ich.

nö, brauchste definitiv nicht. Du kannst das CD(DVD)-Update bedenkenlos über die alte Version installieren. Ich habe das seit Version 2004 immer so gemacht, nur das letzte 2009-Ultra auf HD hat bei mir die alte Version ersetzt, weil es schneller ging.
Wenn Du die letzten 2009er update-Patches für die realtracks und -drums von der PGM-Seite eingespielt hast, brauchst Du noch nicht mal die schon vorhandenen Realtracks zu installieren. Alte, ersetzte Dateien landen immer in einem extra Ordner im BB- bzw. RealBand-Verzeichnis
