Heard this on the early morning news. No conclusions, just the facts.
1. Dr. Dre at $110 million, based partly on sales of his Beats brand headphones.
2. Roger Waters at $88 million, based partly on his "The Wall" tour.
3. Elton John. I missed the amount because my jaw was hanging at Roger's accomplishment. I knew he was doing okay, but . . . erm, my goodness. I didn't know that music was still that lucrative.
