Um, no. They have PLENTY of excellent demos and examples. Plus, there is a very good user base as well. Demo version is a great way to get your product pirated. Or, people just settling for the crappy demo style.

For example, look at the "Real Book" iPad app. It has really really really crappy midi playback, but every musician who has it thinks it's like the second coming of the wheel. They are awed by that. But then if they hear what I have done with Band in a Box......it's game over.

I'd not even consider a "demo" or limited version. Hell, PGMusic has been around for a LONG time. I think my boxed up Atari ST (first computer) still has the 3.5 floppies that Band in a Box came on......
