As an aside, you can set everything to simple variations, for all songs, by a single setting Prefs-Override- Force To Simple Arrangement.
That's a "set it and forget it" setting, so if you ever want the musicians to play more embellished, you would turn that back on. But you won't have to fiddle with the Simple checkbox on every song...
