VST's or VSTi's?
VSTi; i use one (Forte) just so I have one, but like Mac I use hardware synths for anything worth recording.
VST; I use a ton of them. Some free some not. I like Kjaerhaus Classic Compressor and Reaplugs on the free side.
Ambience is one of my favorite reverbs (also free)
The guy that created Ambience worked with support here to make it work smoother in PG effects slots
Parmeter and Ozone are a couple of my favorite VST paid plugins, both worth the price (to me). Forte is worth every penny, it's just that I have much better hardware sitting here so I use it, but I gladly paid for it. Then again I paid $500 for a RAP10 card that went obsolete fairly quickly so I may not make the best choices sometimes. On the plus side I did find a working system with an ISA slot, so I may try to revive that card someday.
There is a thread around here with a list of plugins known to work in PGProducts and used by various members here.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
