>>> Across all of BIAB styles, there's nothing that approaches a simple, upbeat fusion track that could maybe be associated with a Chic Corea Electric Band genre or a Garaj Mahal kind of groove. I guess that just isn't the BIAB cup of tea. Too bad. BIAB is a great program. But for me, the styles sound as if they were born of a casio/wall-mart $89.00 sing-along keyboard. I've learned a lot using BIAB. But the styles/sounds are out of touch.

You're in luck.

Not sure what styles you've been listening to, but I would recommend listening to the many Jazz-Fusion RealStyles that we've made. For example, they include Sax solos by Eric Marienthal, long time Sax player in the Chick Corea Elektric Band.

You've likely been listening to MIDI styles, try out the RealStyles.
Here's a bunch of RealStyles with Jazz Fusion (Eric Marienthal on Sax)

BTW, the rhythm section here is Jeff Lorber (el. piano), Alex Al (Michael Jackson's bass player), Rick Lawson (Yellow Jackets drums)

Have Fun!
