I bought an inexpensive Behringer mixer a while back (works great for me by the way). I was having a bit of trouble figuring it out as I was new to mixers and recording. I visited a home recording forum to ask the question. I guy replied and said (paraphrasing) that the mixer was a piece of *&++ and that I should not visit the forum again until I has some equipment worth discussing.
I guess its just my demeanor but I though it was funny. My father (who left us when I was 5) once told me I was worthless. That is the kind of thing that hurts. Grumpiness here does not.
