(the MIDI button) Under the filter settings, the source should be set to "Computer MIDI Input" and the channels and events should all be marked on with 'X'. The monitor should indicate any messages that are received from the keyboard. If you don't see any activity here, I think you won't see it anywhere else in the BIAB program either.
