Band-in-a-Box for Windows

Hello All,
I open up a midi file in BB and want to move the midi drums to the BB drum track, which is on channel 10, but for now is on the Melody track.
I invoke the Copy/Move Tracks command to select Melody as my source track;
then I select channel 10 as my channel to be moved.
Next to the command 'Copy selected channels to: I select Drums. I hit the OK, DO IT button, but it don't wanna DO IT. The drums don't want to move. Beats me.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm sure I'm overlooking something simple.
