I`d like to have a cymbal (usually Ride) roll at the end of a (jazz) song. That`s how songs often end and for ballads it`s almost a "must". You know, while the band holds the chord (sustains it) or also makes rolls, like on guitar or even piano the drummer makes those cymbal rolls. Because right now, when I put a held chord at the end the drums make something like "wham" - a single hit, while the other instruments sustain. That sounds odd.
