I've done a lot of rendering of BIAB files to MP3, and have found that BIAB 2013 makes this a lot easier.

I drop them into a folder for exported files, then get iTunes to "Add Folder to Library". I then get iTunes to fill in the relevant "Info" fields, and sync with the iPad.

Incidentally, I think that the box marked "3" in Noel's response above is intended for users to save a particular output audio format+quality in a named file for future use - this box isn't for the name of the output file.
