This is possible, I managed to get the separate components of a drum kit in wav and midi files but it was so long ago I cannot remember how I did it!!
I believe one way was opening a BIAB project with RB and then there is a setting in RB which gives you the option of getting the separate drum components in RB.
I also think I managed to do it in BIAB but cannot remember.
Someone from PG Music should know.
