A quick question. I wanted to record a 2nd track and hear the 1st one. Other than the obvious of use headphones how?

When I hit record the 2nd time I get no playback.

Just trying to layer a string track on the first one.

Thanks in advance if you can steer me. I can google later and try to find it myself. But I'm having a lousy day with the feet, and they are beating me like crazy. So grumpy John is off to heat the oven.
