"I do know the 1010 is still out there and have found it as low as $159 still new in the package. But still you have valid points and how much longer PCI will be available is a concern. I just hate to pay $450 for an interface right now, and i am worried about driver issues and disconnects." The 1010 might be "new" in the package, but the "newest" XP drivers (You're running XP- right?) available from M-Audio for the 1010 are 5 years old . http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=supp...&OS=x9#tabs I have the Delta 44, and while it's a stable interface, the drivers have been problematic. If you just want a way to get 8 inputs from your mixer into your computer, the 1010 will work. Just realize that M-Audio is obviously no longer supporting it with updated drivers.
